Mika, crossed his arms as he, along with Enid, sat patiently next to the infirmary door. It was early in the morning; only a few students walked down the halls, their shoes echoing down the hallway.

Mika looked to his side. Enid twiddled her thumbs, her eyes tired and her demeanor nervous. Mika had never seen his friend this way before, her being so concerned for another's safety she looked like she either didn't sleep well or not at all last night.

After going just to retrieve her bag from Lucian's mansion, her and Mika were jumped by a rebellious faction in town. And Lucian had come to their rescue, but was hurt in the process. Enid had told Mika that this whole ordeal was her fault, and she was the reason Lucian was injured that night.

Mika had assured her that it wasn't her fault and Lucian would be alright, but even he felt a bit unsure. He and Lucian weren't exactly "friends", they only met one another just recently. And from their first encounter, Mika didn't trust the guy. But after Lucian's heroics in trying to defend him and Enid, Mika had a new respect for him, though still a small unsureness about Lucian.

Mika rubbed his tired eyes, and put his hand gently on Enid's lap. "Relax. It'll be okay." He assured her.

She slightly smiled back, but her smile faded as she looked up at the clock.

"I might. And..uh...thank you. For helping us out back there. I might have misjudged you. Anyone who'd protect me and Enid and put themselves in harm's way is good in my book." He said, headed toward the door.
